I contacted STG and they took care of me right away and I received my new unit in 2 days in time to make a custom bracket and mount it on my Yamaha FZ07R. Upon further inspection there was something wrong with the screen. At first I thought it was like crosshairs and thought it was pretty cool with the whole AIM theme. Side note: My first AIM Solo 2 had a mysterious missing lines going through the display screen one horizontally and one vertically. I have not used the laptimer yet, but looking forward to using it at Barber this weekend. The function buttons have a very positive feel with or without gloves. I have been using the Moto D Start Next Laptimer for the past 3 years and decided to try something new. Clear and easy to see if mounted next to gauge cluster. Still a pricey option but one of the best out there.

I' ve had other gps laptimers that would miss the start finish line occasionally but the Aim Solo 2 performed perfect all day. Held a charge all day and recorded every lap. This is by far the best product to use at this entry point to get times and other valuable data. Wi-Fi connection: easy, fast, without connectors nor cables: the best way to configure your Solo 2, to manage the track database, to download the data to your PC. In each of these configurations, Solo 2 gives the proper information during the test and powerful data review immediately after each session.Īt the end of your test, you can quickly review all the key information on your display. Solo 2 can manage different types of races: The predictive lap time function is much more reliable in the new Solo 2, and the configurable RGB LEDs will give you a clear and fast indication of the comparison with your best lap. In case the track is not in the database, no problem: Solo 2 realizes it and enters into the auto-learning mode, automatically understands the characteristics of the track and gives the lap time anyway.
